GEISHA
Geisha, born and raised in Charlotte, NC, started her journey into the musical arts at a young age and has always had a natural talent for performing.
Shortly into her early teen years she began to participate in liturgical dance, playing drums in her church's band, writing poetry and even spoof raps to popular songs. Although she was unable to read music, Geisha held her own in the band with her knack at catching a beat as well as swaying the hearts of her classmates with her poetry.
During Geisha's final semester at the University of NC at Greensboro, she randomly took a "Digital Music Composition" course that showed her inside world of production and decided that this was a sign to bring all of her talents together to become whom she was meant to be to the world. As of 2017, Geisha continues to teach herself more about the music business, mixing, and writing music. Since her graduation Geisha has performed at numerous artist showcases with her own content in Atlanta, GA, Columbia, SC, Charlotte, NC, and Greensboro, NC. These shows allowed her to quickly develop into a great entertainer by challenging her writing and performance skills.
Since the recent pandemic, Geisha continues to network and practice her craft by writing placement songs that have been placed on various TV and Internet shows such as "Life after Lockup". As well, Geisha has recently began working with producers in the UK and Paris for featured projects set to be released between 2021-2022. Geisha is sure not to let her audiences wait of course; with her recent hit release "Hold Me Back", as her first official single and introductory record, the world is only seeing the beginning of her of the type of energy she has been storing up just for YOU!
