TAM TAM
TAM TAM has over 25 years of experience as a music industry professional. She is a Singer, Songwriter, Musician and Producer. She began to develop her skills in songwriting for Reggae music at the age of 14. By the age of 16, she had recorded her first vocals on a Jungle Music track produced by 1.8.7. called West of Britain featuring her vocals, as well as the Hip Hop Group Digable Planets. Formerly known as Reggae Artiste Minx, her professional music career started to fully develop at the age of 17 when she joined the Pittsburgh based Wizdom Worldbeat Reggae Band as a Keyboardist and Sing-Jay. During this time, she was also a Host for the television show Reggae Panorama where she had the opportunity to interview Reggae artistes such as Capleton, Shabba Ranks, Judy Mowatt and Sugar Minott, to name a few. She was performing with the band, hosting the show and attending the University of Pittsburgh’s undergraduate program.
In August 2020, Tam Tam released another single called We Can, produced by Reblah Star on the Star Balance label. The official music video for We Can premiered on September 30, 2020 and is available on her VEVO channel, TamTamMusicVEVO. Appearances in the music video include Tam Tam, Makeda Bernard and her daughter Ayaana aka Lil Warrior, and Jazel Tricia Serate. The music video was Co-Directed by Allyson Ione’s One I Entertainment, Tam Tam and Reblah Star.
