AND33 SUPREME real name Andiswa Sesmani is a singer-songwriter, actress and voice-over artist raised in South Africa's second largest township, Mdantsane. She discovered her love and passion for art early in her childhood, at the tender age of seven when she joined a local dance group called the “Happy Makers”. And33 continued discovering her gift in her schooling years when she joined the drama society and the choir. She also wrote plays and created dance pieces that she would perform with a group of friends in shows that they held in her backyard.
After she matriculated, she continued to cultivate and hone her craft at AFDA, a school of Live Performance and Motion Picture Medium in Cape Town. She received training in acting for stage, film, music, physical theatre and scriptwriting. In 2007, And33 enrolled at the New Africa Theatre Association in Cape Town where she studied acting, music, scenography, microphone and radio technique, African dance, theatre history, voice technique, comedy and writing. Andee's music has enjoyed airplay on SABC and local radio stations and has earned her the opportunity to headline sessions around East London. In addition to that, she has also completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Fort Hare where she has also been actively involved in the Performing Arts society and writers club.
Her commitment to the Performing Arts has earned her recognition in the form of an award for her contribution to the creative society at University of Fort Hare. Other work she has done include a theatre production titled Ziyabila, staged at the Baxter theater in 2007, which focused on the challenges of adolescence. In the production, And33 played the young troubled lead character, Fiona. Recently, she featured on the local hit film Knuckle City. She was also among the four opening acts for AKA's Eastern Cape Tour in 2015. .Her role in the local music industry has earned her the 2016 Kumkani FM’s Best Female artist award.
And33’s debut album enttiled Triple Threat is out now on all major digital platforms worldwide and so is her new afro-pop single taken from the album 'Lonke' which has just been added to the regular rotation at Radio Airplay Network affiliate station WHTL 95.2 FM Tha Land in Cleveland.
