KHUJO GOODIE
Khujo Goodie one fourth of the Atlanta based Southern Hip Hop Group “GOODIE MOB”, one half of the Southwest Atlanta rap duo “LUMBERJACKS” and a member of the “DUNGEON FAMILY”; first appeared in 1994 on OUTKAST first platinum selling album produced by super producers “Organize Noize” “Southernplayalisticcaddilacmusic“ released on Laface Records. You first hear KHUJO'S commanding vocals on the hard bass driven song called “CALL OF THE WILD”. With the success of that album,the record label seen that "GOODIE MOB" had earn their chance at releasing their own debut album "SOUL FOOD” in 1995, “STILL STANDING” in 1998 and “WORLD PARTY” in 1999 that sold over 500,000 copies.
Building from the momentum of a growing fan base it was time for Khujo Goodie to release his first solo album in 2002 called “THE MAN NOT THE DAWG”, “LUMBERJACKS” collaboration with Tmo Goodie” in 2005, then “MERCURY” in 2007 and “G-MOB GODFATHER” produced by Daz Dillinger in 2008. Reuniting with “GOODIE MOB” in 2013 for “THE AGE AGAINST THE MACHINE” album, “THE GOOD LIFE” Television show with TBS and touring; the time was ripe again to put new music in the system. “Blame It On Me” 2017 produced by super-producer "Get Cool" put the world on notice that “KHUJO GOODIE" was back to doing what he does best.
Releasing five singles 2018: 1. “38 Hot” produced by multi-platinum producer “Jay Beatz”, 2. “Joogin&Pluggin” produced Cashous Clay, 3. “Orange Hall” produced by Dr. freak, 4. “THA 100” feat. Spice 1,Young Bleed & Q Bosilini produced by Underwater Traxxs and 5. “YAH Fights” produced by “Cashous Clay". Fast forward to 2019 and KHUJO is back at it again recently releasing more music “DON’T CARE NUTN BOUT IT” produced by Dr. Freak is already bubbling on mix cd’s like “Music Trafficking DJ’s", Fleet DJ’s playlist w/Spotify and underground radio like “HipHopGodsRadio” / “And You Don’t Stop” w/ Chuck D.
Now here is another installment for Khujo’s fans to add to their collection of heat for the streets, the new single released 10/3/19 “WESHCHN" produced by Decatur Legend “Mr. Ku” aka Ku4Real.
