Dirty Vibezs

Championed as Jamaica’s hottest new export, DJ Dirty Vibezs is the DJ we should all be listening to right now. Music was always a key influence in Vibezs life; throughout his childhood he spent his weekends at music lessons and played bass guitar for his church choir. His immigration to New York City in his teens cemented his passion for any sound with a great rhythm and bass.

Despite this passion, music was not his first career choice and after attending the Bronx Community College he headed to Clarkson University where he obtained his engineering degree. He was fully intent on keeping his word to his mother to become the ‘best engineer that the aviation industry would ever see.’ But music kept on calling and it was Vibezs’s side-line in nightclub promotion that led him to his true vocation. Vibezs was soon DJ’ing in NYC’s most sought after nightclubs, securing residencies at PHD Rooftop at the Dream Hotel in New York and the Marquee in Las Vegas.

Content in the knowledge that this was his true calling, Vibezs quickly gauged that producing his own music would be his next venture and the birth of Vibezs’s now instantly recognisable smooth, emotive sound, was born. Released tracks to date include ‘Ol Blue Eyesz’ featuring Frank Sinatra and ‘Anthem’ featuring Kodat, out now.

Today DJ Vibezs plays upwards of eighty shows per year, entertaining fans in London, Paris, Milan, NYC and L.A., and amassing his own celebrity clientele, including the likes of Shaggy, Damian Marley, Usain Bolt and Drake.

The year 2019 is already promising to propel DJ Vibezs further into our consciousness with new residencies extending into Asia and Africa. He is scheduled to make appearances at international music festivals plus news will soon be released of further collaborations with some of the worlds most revered artists.
